BBQ Chicken Flatbread

BBQ Chicken Flatbread

Store-bought naan is the secret weapon here. Top it with BBQ sauce, rotisserie chicken, and a handful of fresh toppings and you've got a flatbread that looks like it came from a restaurant — no oven required.

Ingredients

Meat & Protein

  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken shredded

Produce

  • 0.25 red onion thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro roughly chopped

Dairy

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or Monterey Jack

Pantry & Canned Goods

  • 4 pieces store-bought naan bread Stonefire or similar
  • 0.5 cup BBQ sauce your favorite — Sweet Baby Ray's, Stubb's, or whatever you keep on hand

Instructions

  • In a bowl, toss the shredded rotisserie chicken with half the BBQ sauce until well coated.
  • Lay the naan pieces flat and spread the remaining BBQ sauce over each one, right to the edges.
  • Scatter the shredded mozzarella evenly over each flatbread, then top with the BBQ chicken and sliced red onion.
  • Finish with fresh cilantro, slice into pieces, and serve. That's it.

Notes

This is a no-cook recipe — the naan is eaten at room temperature and it works beautifully. If you want it warm, pop it in a 400°F oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese melts, but it's completely optional.
Stonefire naan is the gold standard here — it's thick, chewy, and holds up to the toppings without going soggy. Find it near the bread or deli section at most grocery stores.
Leftovers keep in the fridge for 2 days. Reheat in a dry skillet for 2 minutes to crisp the bottom back up.
